Short notice but here are the Training Sessions going on today (2/13)

12:15-12:45  Core Work-out
1:00-2:15      Hill Climb Specific Work-out (Finishing w/ the last 5 miles of Mt Evans)

Monday (2/14) Drop-In Class Cancelled

Monday’s drop-in ride is canceled due to Valentine’s Day.  Training is important but no one recovers very well if they have to sleep in the dog house.

Monday 6:30 training session

The roads are still messy and we have another round of snow coming our way.  Stop by for a work out tonight (Monday) at 6:30.  The session will be designed to get you ready for the Mead Roubaix and should last about 1:15.

Great pre-game workout

Nearly a full house for our Super Bowl Sunday ride, great group intensity.  Two hours on the trainer seems to go by a lot more quickly with company.

Full House

We had a full house for the Foxtrot Racing team workout last night.  Good to see everyone emerging from their winter hibernation and preparing for the 2011 season.   Christian suffered through his LT test while the rest of the team got a solid tempo workout in.  Next week we’ll do a VO2 max session which should be a real suffer fest.

“Let me start by saying I own a trainer and I’ve used it about 3 times in the last 5 years. After last night’s experience, I plan to use a trainer once or twice a week. Not mine, not at my house though.
JD has a very nice setup with really cool trainer equipment, audio-visual entertainment and, above all, he knows what he’s talking about and is fun to ride with! It makes a huge difference to ride with others in a place that is designed specifically to train.
Yesterday, we rode part of the Morgul-Bismark. No head-wind or traffic. We varied our tempo and exercises. Of course we climbed up to highway 93 using only one leg at a time (I suspect downhill would be less painful!).”

Free January Drop-In Class Schedule

Please note that this schedule is not the same as the class schedule.  The drop in classes that are offered through January 14th will be free.  Please call ahead to reserve your spot as space is limited.

Also remember that you may come and use the equipment at any time for an hourly charge of $10 un-coached and $15 coached.  Please call ahead to make sure that what you want to use is available.

It looks like winter is back for the next few days.  Get your workout in despite the weather.  Come check out the Foxtrot Performance Center for a FREE drop-in class.  Sessions start tonight at 6:30.  Bring your bike, cycling clothes, water bottle, and a towel be ready to sweat.  Please call ahead to reserve your spot as space is limited
